Breaking: Player pleads guilty top charges after attacking referee.

An Erie Community College player was facing charges for an attack on a referee, and on Thursday that case finally came to a close.

A breaking news report from TWC News has revealed that the player involved in the incident, Brandon Day, has pleaded guilty in the case and as a result was sentenced to the conditions agreed upon in the plea bargain. Day will now enjoy three years of probation and he will also be forced to undergo anger management counselling as part of his guilty plea.

The incident drew national attention when the video of Day leaving the penalty box to charge the referee went viral, you can see that video below courtesy of Sports Illustrated.
