Many players showed up at their former GM’s place after he’s been fired yesterday

Classy gesture from the L.A. Kings players last night as they reportedly showed up at Dean Lombardi’s place to say goodbye.

Yesterday, the Los Angeles Kings have just completely cleaned house. Not only has head coach, Darryl Sutter been fired but general manager Dean Lombardi has also been relieved of his duties. The two men combined to form one of the most powerful duos in the National Hockey League during their time with the Kings, leading the organization to pair of Stanley Cup Championships.

It’s the beginning of a new era in Los Angeles. Even though it’s not clear who exactly showed up at Lombardi’s house last night, it’s a classy move from the roster in place.
