The Nashville Predators added some depth and experience to their lineup, as team announced they signed forward Harry Zolnierczyk to a one-year, two-way contract on Wednesday.
Zolnierczyk, 30, was never drafted in the NHL. He started his pro career in the Philadelphia Flyers organisation, playing 44 games with them in two seasons. He was then traded to the Anaheim Ducks during the 2013 season, and then traded again to the Pittsburgh Penguins in the summer. He also played in the New York Islanders organisation. Nashville signed him as a free agent last summer. He played 24 games in the NHL last season, registering four points. He added three points in 11 playoff games. In 84 NHL games, Zolnierczyk registered 13 points.
