Breaking: Puljujarvi agrees to play for another team!

It seems like the Jesse Puljujarvi situation in Edmonton has reached a breaking point.

While Oilers general manager Ken Holland is willing to be patient to get the right offer for the young forward who demanded a trade earlier this summer, it seems like Puljujarvi is not willing to wait anymore.

In fact, the Complete Hockey News has just revealed on Thursday that Puljujärvi has agreed to play for Oulun Kärpät next season until his situation with the Oilers is settled.

Last week, Puljujarvi personally made his intentions known, telling a Finnish media that he’ll stay in Finland until he has a new contract.

‘I want a new start with some other team. Playing in North America is still my goal.” “I will stay on Oulu until I have a contract. I will find a place to play somewhere.’

And that’s what he went on and did this morning…

Puljujarvi was drafted fourth overall by the Oilers back in 2016, but the kid has not impressed ever since he stepped on NHL ice. He’s played 139 NHL games and has just 37 points.
