Breaking: Quenneville makes controversial scratch
Keystone Press

Chicago Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville made a surprising decision minutes before tonight's game against the Buffalo Sabres. He scratched forward Ryan Hartman, who had a shot on the first line in the last game.

According to hockey insider Mark Lazerus, Richard Panik should be taking his spot in the lineup, or it could be Vinnie Hinostroza, who was recalled earlier today.

Hartman, 23, was drafted 30th overall by Chicago in 2013. He played 111 games in the NHL, registering 46 points. He has 14 points in 27 games played so far this season.
