Breaking: Radim Vrbata has agreed to terms on a new deal.
Keystone Press.

The rumors appear to have been accurate.

According to a report from ESPN's Craig Custance the Arizona Coyotes and veteran forward Radim Vrbata have agreed to terms on a new one-year deal that will pay Vrbata a flat rate of $1 million dollars with a number of additional bonuses attached to the contract.

While Custance did admit that the deal is not officially signed just yet, it does sound like it's a done deal as National Hockey League sources are already leaking details to the press. Arizona Sports reporter Craig Morgan has been informed by his sources that Vrbata coudl earn as much as $3 million this season should he hit all the bonuses on his contract.

In order to do so the Coyotes will need to make the playoffs, and any way you spin this it's a sign that Vrbata made a huge regression last season in the eyes of most if not all NHL teams.
