Breaking: Rangers pull McQuaid off the ice in the middle of game against Wild
Trade alert?
HockeyFeed
This just in, the New York Rangers have pulled defenseman Adam McQuaid off the ice and have announced that he will NOT return for tonight’s game against the Minnesota Wild.
This, of course, has led to widespread speculation that McQuaid, a pending free agent, has been traded. Nothing official on that just yet, though. Stay tuned.
NHL insider Bob McKenzie reported earlier this week that the asking price for McQuaid via trade was/is a 3rd round pick.
Again, more to come on this story. Stay tuned.
