The Detroit Red Wings needed to make some changes in the offseason, and it appears general manager Ken Holland is looking overseas for some potential solutions.

A breaking news report from Gregg Krupa of The Detroit News has revealed that the Wings have signed 21-year-old center Christoffer Ehn to an entry-level National Hockey League contract.

Ehn is an is a former Detroit Red Wings fourth round draft pick that was selected 106th overall in the 2016 NHL draft. He has been playing in the Swedish Hockey League where is is coming off a season with Frolunda HC that saw him play in 52 games where he recorded 4 goals, and 9 assists for a total of 13 points on the season.

No word yet on whether or not he will report to the American Hockey League or the NHL to start his pro career in North America.
