Today, the Boston Bruins made a change to their roster.

Rookie Danton Heinen has been assigned to the Providence Bruins. Heinen played in seven of the nine games of the season, and tallying only two penalty minutes. He was unable to get on the scoresheet once the season started, considering his offensive performance in the preseason. In five games in the preseason, Heinen played six games, scoring three goals, zero assists, and had a +/- differential of +6.

Since amassing no points, and having a +/- of -2 since the start of the season, the 21-year old may benefit from playing more in Providence, developing his offensive skillset and finetuning his already razor-sharp hockey sense.
