The Ottawa Senators have placed five players on waivers, Friday.
Forwards Chris Didomenico and Ben Sexton, defensemen Patrick Sieloff and Erik Burgdoerfer and netminder Daniel Taylor were placed on waivers.
Today was the first day from National Hockey League waivers.
Fans were awaiting to see if there was any surprises on the inaugural day.
