The Ottawa Senators have recalled defenseman Thomas Chabot from the Belleville Senators (AHL), the team announced on Monday night. This move is linked to the injury to defenseman Mark Borowiecki, who suffered a concussion against the New York Rangers yesterday.
Chabot, 20, was drafted 18th overall by Ottawa in 2015. He played three games with the Senators this season, registering two points. In 12 games played in the AHL, the young defenseman registered seven points.
The Senators will play their next game Wednesday against the Washington Capitals.
