The Ottawa Senators have officially re-signed 23 year old forward Anthony Duclair to a one year, $1.65 million contract.

Duclair had eight goals and 14 points in 21 games with the Sens last season after coming over from the Columbus Blue Jackets in a trade for Ryan Dzingel. It might be too early to tell, but it looks like Duclair FINALLY has a permanent home in the NHL after playing for four NHL teams (Arizona Coyotes, Chicago Blackhawks, Blue Jackets, Senators) the past two seasons.

In other Sens news, insider Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun has confirmed that the team will NOT be bringing back forward Magnus Paajarvi.

Check it out:

The former 10th overall pick in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft had 11 goals and 19 points in 80 games for the Sens this past season.
