Breaking: Sens' Ryan hurts his hand - yet again!

You gotta be kidding! Fans went nuts on social media!

It may feel like we are reporting an older story to you tonight, but this took place on Friday night, as the Ottawa Senators were facing the New York Islanders. The game was not only crazy because it ended 6-5 for the Sens, it was nuts because the same awful thing happened again:

Bobby Ryan's hand was injured!

Gasp.

NHL insider Darren Dreger was of the first to note it as Ryan was hit on the hand by Isles defenseman Nick Leddy. The Sens forward headed to the bench, where he was seem grimacing and holding an ice pack on his hand.

We can no longer keep count of how many hand injuries Ryan has had since joining the Senators in 2013. It's been close to five consecutive seasons that he has suffered hand damage.

At least tonight, he did finish the game, but Twitter went nuts when they saw the forward in pain on the bench, holding his hand.

Hopefully it was just a bit of pain that he needed to shake off, and then he won't be sidelined with another hand injury this season. We will keep you posted on the potential bad news - if his back luck continues...
