Breaking: Sens sign veteran centerman

TSN analyst and NHL insider Aaron Ward is reporting that the Ottawa Senators have signed former Anaheim Ducks centerman Nate Thompson to a two-year contract with an annual cap hit of $1.65 million.

It’s worth noting that Sens head coach has experience with Thompson for their time with the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Sens bench boss undoubtedly had a major influence in his signing.
