Shocking announcement regarding potential Crosby suspension

On Thursday night Crosby delivered a slash that resulted in one of the most gruesome injuries of the entire National Hockey League season, leaving Ottawa Senator Marc Methot with one finger much shorter than it was when he entered the game.

Social media went crazy last night as every single Crosby hater demanding justice in the form of a suspension.

NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly finally addressed the situation earlier this morning. An early report from ESPN insider Pierre LeBrun has revealed that the league is NOT looking into this matter any further.

To be clear here, LeBrun is effectively stating that there will be no discipline for Sidney Crosby. Not saying it’s the case, but this does certainly make it look like the league applies double standards toward their superstars, and furthermore may even indicate that the league's top stars play by their own set of rules.
