Breaking: Stanley Cup Champion traded back to his former team.

It's not the biggest trade in the world but the story line here alone makes this a notable deal.

While the deal is not yet official multiple sources, including ESPN's Pierre LeBrun, are now reporting that the Chicago Blackhawks have worked out a deal with the Dallas Stars that will send former two-time Stanley Cup Champion Johnny Oduya back to Chicago where he won those championships.

Heading back the other way will be a fourth round draft choice, howeber TSN insider Bob McKenzie is not reporting that the pick has some conditions attached ot it. Should Chicago win at least two playoff rounds with Oduya appearing in at least half those games, the pick would become a third round draft choice.

Fans in Chicago will likely at the very least appreciate the nostalgia, and a fourth round pick isn't a huge piece to give up for a veteran familair with your system.
