There is a big time trade rumor in the National Hockey League this evening.
While the rumors around Marian Gaborik have been circulating for some time now, they have reached a boiling point this evening, and perhaps so has the patience of the Los Angeles Kings.
According to a report from David Pagnotta of the Fourth Period, Gaborik has been made a healthy scratch this evening, something he believes further illustrates the disappointment and frustration the Kings have felt towards the veteran forward.
Furthermore according to Pagnotta, the Kings will be looking for a way to move his contract this summer, although they may explore a buyout if they fail to find a trade.
The 35-year-old has had an incredible career with 396 goals and 396 assists for 792 points in 984 games, but has slowed down as of late with just 10 goals and 0 assists in 51 games this season.
