According to today’s practice it looks like Niklas Hjalmarsson will be hitting the ice during the next regular season match against the Nashville Predators.
Hjalmarsson was suspended for an illegal charge on Ty Rattie of the St. Louis Blues which resulted in a three game suspension.
The last game of that suspension was last night’s 5-2 loss to the Blues during the first match of the 2016-2017 NHL regular season.
Niklas is potentially expected to make his regular season debut this Friday versus the Nashville Predators at the Bridgestone Arena at 8:00 p.m. (ET).
