The time is now for the Dallas Stars and one forward seems to have taken the message very seriously.
Mats Zuccarello suffered a broken arm blocking a shot on Feb. 24, a day after being acquired by the Stars from the New York Rangers. The 31-year-old was expected to miss about four weeks after undergoing surgery.
Before breaking his arm and undergoing surgery on his injury, Zuccarello had a goal and an assist with a plus-3 rating in over 13 minutes of ice time in his Stars debut.
While some believed he would make a return this week, head coach Jim Montgomery noted his player needed a bit more time. However, it seems like the time is now for Zuccarello as he is making a surprise return tonight against the Philadelphia Flyers.
If the Stars can get away with a win tonight, they will officially clinch a playoff spot in the Western Conference.
This might be a surprise return for the Stars and Zuccarello, but we bet everyone is excited about it!
And he is already making an impact; love at this pass!
