After finally notching his first win of the National Hockey League regular season schedule last night against the Ottawa Senators, it appears as though Petr Mrazek will once again get the nod ahead of tomorrow’s matchup against the New York Rangers at the infamous Madison Square Garden.

After letting in nine goals in his first two starts, the Czech netminder allowed only one goal past him against a red-hot Senators team at the Joe Louis Arena last night.

It looks like Jimmy Howard has yet to win the coach’s confidence, as negative results by Mrazek (who still played well in the first two games of the season despite the score) have not forced Blashill’s hand in starting the long-serving Red Wings goaltender.
