Breaking: Sullivan names his starter for game 5

With a couple shaky performances in Nashville, Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Matt Murray had come under some criticism leading some fans and analysts to call for Marc-Andre Fleury to start tonight’s pivotal game 5 back in Pittsburgh. Not so fast, though… head coach Mike Sullivan has different plans.

There you have it. After two days of rumor and speculation, Sullivan has finally come out in endorsement of his starting goaltender. And, while Murray hasn’t been at his best in the four games of the Stanley Cup Final, it’s hard to argue with the coach’s decision. Murray sports a sparking 2.08 GAA and .925 Sv% in eight post season games this year and has the remarkable ability to rebound from losses.
