Breaking: Terrible injury news for Predators

The Nashville Predators have placed forward Viktor Arvidsson on injured reserve, dated retroactive to last Tuesday.

Viktor Arvidsson has been placed on injured reserve.

The 25 year old forward has missed the team’s last two games with an undisclosed lower body injury. The fact that he’s been placed on injured reserve means that he’ll likely miss tomorrow’s game against the Colorado Avalanche. 

The Preds are currently riding a three game win streak and sit atop the standings in the NHL’s Central Division, but needless to say that Arvidsson’s absence will still be felt by the team. The speedy winger has eight goals and 12 points in 12 games so far this season.
