Breaking: Terrific news regarding the status of Kyle Okposo!

First and foremost a big shout out to the men and women of the neuro ICU unit at Buffalo General Hospital who probably don't get nearly the recognition they deserve. 

Tom Martin of News 4 in Buffalo has just reported some terrific news, revealing that veteran National Hockey League forward Kyle Okposo has been discharged from the hospital, presumably an indication that the worst has passed.

Okposo had been in hospital since this past Sunday with an illness that remains a mystery even now. He was eventually transferred to the neuro intensive care unit and it was at that time that concern for his long-term health really took center stage.

Thankfully he is out of hospital now and hopefully that means he is well on his way to recovery.
