Breaking: The Minnesota Wild have made a trade!

We have a trade to announce.

A breaking news report from Minnesota Wild insider Mike Russo of the Star Tribune has just revealed that the Wild have made a trade with the Washington Capitals.

According to Russo the Wild will be sending big 24-year-old center Tyler Graovac, a former Minnesota Wild 7th round draft pick(191st overall) at the National Hockey League Entry Draft, to the Capitals and in exchnage the Wild will receive Washington's fifth round pick in 2018.

Despite being drafted very deep in the draft in 2011, Graovac managed to earn himself over 50 games on the Wild roster this past season picking up 7 goals and 2 assists for 9 points on the season. Perhaps more importantly it also gave him a chance to showcase his natural physical gifts.

For the Wild the upside is obvious here, they get a pick two rounds earlier and will look to flip that into an even better player. The Capitals on the other hand get some added depth and a big body up the middle of their line up.
