Breaking: The NHL MVP is now down to just three men.

The National Hockey League's race for the 2017 Hart Memorial Trophy is down to just three men.

On Monday the league announced that two captains and a goaltender where the final three, naming Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby, Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid and Columbus Blue Jackets goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky as the three finalists for the Hart.

Earlier today TSN insider Pierre LeBrun revealed that he had voted for Connor McDavid at number one, Sidney Crosby at number two, and Sergei Bobrovsky at number four with his third place vote going to Senators defenseman Erik Karlsson. It seems like many of the other voters may have felt in a very similar manner to LebBrun in regards this years voting process.

Of course now we have to wait and see who the NHL will declare the winner. Who is your pick for the NHL's 2017 Most Valuable Player?
