The Toronto Maple Leafs have finally announced a contract signing that fans have been anticipating all summer long.

According to an official announcement from Toronto Maple Leafs Public Relations, the team has come to terms on a three-year deal with 23-year-old forward Connor Brown.

Furthermore the Leafs have released the basic financial terms of the contract, revealing that Brown will earn a total of $6.3 million dollars over the length of his contract, which breaks down to an average annual value and cap hit of $2.1 million.

Brown is coming off a huge season that saw him record 20 goals for the Leafs while adding an additional 16 assists for a total of 36 points in 82 games player in the 2016-2017 campaign.
