The Vegas Golden Knights lost their third string netminder Oscar Dansk last night to a lower-body injury, in the 6-3 loss to the New York Islanders and it has been confirmed that the 23-year-old has been placed on injury reserve and will miss the remainder of the road trip.

The Knights called up Dylan Ferguson of the WHL's Kamloops Blazers as the team's backup on an emergency basis for Tuesday's game against the New York Rangers.

Dansk was replaced by Maxime Lagace, who allowed four goals on 11 shots as Vegas was handed its second loss so far...

The Golden Knights are already without starting goalie Marc-Andre Fleury due to a concussion and backup Malcolm Subban due to a lower-body injury.

The young goalie had a good start with the club, recording three wins, a 1.78 goal-against-average and .946 save percentage in four games.
