Breaking : Top 4 defenseman out for 2-3 weeks

Following last night 4-3 loss against the New Jersey Devils, the Minnesota Wild were back to work this morning. Unfortunately, one top 4 defenseman and 2 top 6 forwards were missing :

Jonas Brodin (3-13--16)

Eric Staal (15-24--39)

Charlie Coyle (13-22--35)

Eric Staal and Charlie Coyle were both playing on the first line lately and chemistry was operating as they registered 6 points in the last 5 games .

While there's no timetable for Staal and Coyle yet, Jonas Brodin is expected to be sidelined for 2-3 weeks with a broken finger.

Fletcher says Brodin's seeing the hand specialist now. Going to be weeks, but he doesn't know yet if it's 2 or 3 or 4 or 6 #mnwild
