Breaking: Top insider with a big update on the Jagr rumors!

Fans have really been hoping that they will get to see National Hockey League legend Jaromir Jagr play for at least one more season in the NHL, however yesterday those hopes took a hit when Jagr himself suggested that remaining in Europe was a very real option.

On Wednesday one of the best insiders in the business, TSN's Bob McKenzie, made his return from his summer holiday and fielded a number of questions from fans of the NHL, including one about Jaromir Jagr. 

McKenzie was asked about the persistent rumors that suggest Jagr could be headed to Calgary to join the Flames for the 2017-2018 season, and unfortunately this was another disappointing update.

While he admitted that he "could be wrong," he stated flatly that he "does not believe this to be the case," and if McKenzie doesn't believe it, considering how well connected he is, we think it's now very likely that the rumor is dead.
