A controversial decision...

Interesting lineup decision for New York Islanders coach Dough Weight for his team's season opener on Friday.

Young forward Josh Ho-Sang, the team's top prospect, will be a healthy scratch when the team hosts the Buffalo Sabres. Veteran Jason Chimera takes his spot.

Other young players like Anthony Beauvillier and Matthew Barzal will be in uniform on Friday.

Ho-Sang being the odd-man out is a little surprising given how strong of a preseason he had and how promising he looked last season. He recorded 10 points and a 52 percent Corsi rating in 21 games.

The 38-year-old Chimera played in all 82 games for the Islanders last year scoring 20 goals.
