Breaking: Top prospect signs his entry level contract

The Vancouver Canucks signed forward Jonah Gadjovich to a three-year entry level contract, the team announced on Monday. The 19-year old was drafted 55th overall by Vancouver in June. He his actually playing his fourth junior hockey season with the Owen Sound Attack of the OHL. In eight games so far this year, he scored five goals, added four assists for a total of nine points. Gadjovich registered 116 points in 194 games.

He will have a good opportunity of playing for Team Canada Junior in this year’s World Junior Hockey Championship.
