Breaking: Turris delivers emotional “goodbye” to Ottawa and Sens fans

Kyle Turris is now a member of the Nashville Predators, but he won't soon forget what the Ottawa Senators organization has done for him and his family. 

The veteran forward posted a heartfelt statement on social media Tuesday morning to thank many members of the Sens franchise, friends and fans. 

Turris added that he is excited to start this new chapter in Nashville. The Predators acquired Turris from the Ottawa Senators in a massive three-way trade that saw Matt Duchene go to Ottawa. He signed a six-year, $36 million contract with the club. 

The Preds are facing the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight.
