Two forwards to miss weekend games due to injury
According to head coach, Bruce Cassidy, Tim Schaller and Frank Vatrano will miss both games this weekend due to injury.
Schaller has been out of the Bruins’ line-up since March 9 with a lower body injury. Though Schaller has missed the last nine games, he has now been cleared for contact and participated in the morning skate. His status will remain day-to-day.
Vatrano is out with an upper-body injury that was suffered at practice on March 30. Though he is not a star player, Vatrano is important in the line-up as a secondary scorer. While playing along side Spooner and Hayes he has put up 18 points this season (10 goals, 8 assists).
Since both forwards are continuing to recover from their injuries, we can only hope that the Bruins can maintain their wildcard spot without them this weekend. Go Bruins!
