Big Skilled Center and Former 1st round pick on his way out of the NHL

CapFriendly reported earlier on Thursday that former Montreal Canadiens, and pending UFA Nikita Nesterov, will sign in the KHL per his agent. Nesterov did not receive a Qualifying offer from Montreal.

As for the other player that reportedly signed a deal in the KHL, the big skilled center and former 1st round pick Mikhail Grigorenki is reportedly on his way out of the NHL.

Nikita Nesterov and Mikhail Grigorenko have signed a 3-year deals with CSKA of the KHL as reported by KHL insider Igor Eronko.

Grigorenkio, a 6’3, 209 lb center is just 23 years-old, so there’s still time for him to get his NHL career back on track if he wants to come back one day or another.
