According to multiple reports the Philadlephia Flyers have traded veteran defenseman Mark Streit to the Tampa Bay Lightning in exchange for veteran forward Valtteri Filppula as well as a pair of draft picks.

The draft picks will be a fourth rounder in 2017 as well as a conditional seventh round draft pick in 2017, the conditions of the second pick have yet to be revealed at this time. The Flyers will also be hanging on to a percentage of Streit's salary in this deal.
