Breaking: Unexpected favorite emerges for Jimmy Vesey.

While reports have confirmed that Jimmy Vesey has met with seven teams, many have believed from the very beginning that this is really a two team race, with the Chicago Blackhawks and the Toronto Maple Leafs being the clear cut favorites albeit for very different reasons.

However now a report from ESPN radio's Mike Grinnell is indicating that that one of the least talked about teams on the list may in fact be the favorite. Grinnell reports that he received a text message from someone close to the Vesey camp and it stated the following"

"He reallllllly likes the Devils."

As of right now this is just a rumor, but if Vesey were to snub all the other teams currently competing for his services to sign with what has been considered an underdog from the very start, it would be a major shocker.
