Breaking: USA on the verge of a MAJOR collapse

The defending gold medalist Team USA is in the middle of a TIGHT 4-4 tie with Finland this afternoon, after seeing 3-0 and 4-2 leads evaporate at the World Junior Championships.

Fans and analysts were concerned for USA in group play after unexpectedly dropping a game against Slovakia earlier this week, but a shootout victory outdoors to Canada seemed to ease those concerns. If the Americans can’t pull out a victory today however, the team could be in real trouble. Regardless of the outcome, USA will proceed to the playoff round, but they’ll have to face a tough opponent should they lose today’s contest.
