Breaking: Veteran centre hits the waiver wire!

The Calgary Flames have placed forward Freddie Hamilton on waivers, on Wednesday. 

It is the second time this season Hamilton lands on the waiver wire. If he clears waivers, he’s eligible to be assigned to the American Hockey League’s Stockton Heat.

In just eight games with the Flames this season, Hamilton has just recorded an assist. He was a healthy scratch for Calgary's last contest. 

Many rival teams are looking to add depth up front, and Hamilton could be a solution. 

We will have to see if there is interest for the 26-year-old centre before noon tomorrow.
