Veteran defenseman and former Stanley Cup winner likely to be healthy scratch

Johnny Oduya has been acquired at the trade deadline from the Dallas Star by GM Stan Bowman for the Stanley Cup Playoffs. He was one highly praised defenseman at the trade deadline as many teams were reported being in the race to acquire his services.

Johnny Oduya played 37 games with the Dallas Stars and 15 with the Chicago Blackhawks this season. He scored 2 goals and registered 7 assists for a total of 9 points. Oduya won the Stanley Cup with the Chicago Blackhawks. In June 2013, he won his first Stanley Cup with the Chicago Blackhawks and is second Stanley Cup with the Chicago Blackhawks on June 15, 2015.

Head coach Joel Quenneville is trying to shake up things as Johnny Oduya was skating on the extra defensive pair this morning alongside Forsling.

The Chicago Blackhawks are trying to find a way to overcome a 3-0 deficit against the Nashville Predators.
