Veteran Forward back at practice this morning

Pierre Lebrun announced this morning on his twitter account that Maple Leafs forward, Brian Boyle was at practice this morning, him who left Tuesday’s game against the caps with ‘’upper-body injury’’.

Toronto traded for Boyle few days before the deadline in exchange of Byron Froese and second round pick in this year’s draft. The team wanted to get a big player able to put in a few nets.Boyle 243 lbs didn’t score his first with the Leafs yet, but has 25 points this year and 13 goals with the Lightning.

We saw what the player could do in playoffs, him who played in the six-last post seasons, for Tampa Bay and the Rangers. He will have an important role to play with the number of young players on his team this year. With a win tonight, the team would clinch the last wild card spot left, and would be back in the playoffs for the first time since the 2012-2013 season.

We could see Boyle on a line with Matt Martin and Kasperi Kapanen in tonight’s game against his former team.
