Breaking: Veteran goalie pulled off injured reserve could play as early as tonight.

A veteran goalie is set to make his return this evening and it's big news for his team. 

A report from Arizona Coyotes insider Craig Morgan of AZ Sports has revealed that the Coyotes have activated goaltender Antti Raanta off of injured reserve, and furthermore plan to play him in tonight's game. 

Raanta was a draft-day acquisition from the Arizona Coyotes this summer, and considering the strong performances he had while backing up Henrik Lundqvist over the past two season the Coyotes had high hopes. 

Unfortunately Raanta was injured after playing just roughly 90 minutes in the regular season and the Coyotes have struggled finding just a single win as one of the National Hockey League's worst team's so far this season.

While the Coyotes are not the most exciting team in the world, there will be a lot of eyes on Raanta tonight as the Coyotes attempt to right the ship.
