Everybody knows the rivalry between the veteran power-forward Scott Hartnell and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
In 2012, the Pittsburgh Penguins and Sidney Crosby played against the Philadelphia Flyers and their former forward Scott Hartnell. The Pittsburgh Penguins entered the playoffs as the 4th overall in the Eastern Conference with 108 points. The Philadelphia Flyers earned 103 points during the regular season and finished 5th overall in the Eastern Conference. Philadelphia finally won the series 4-2. Scott Hartnell and Sidney Crosby were in the center of this rivalry.
Trailing down 0–3 the Columbus Blue Jackets confirmed Hartnell will be sidelined for tonight’s matchup.
Coincidence, it’s also his birthday today.
