Breaking: Voracek set to return for Flyers
Zuma Press

It seems like he has the green light.

Philadelphia Flyers forward Jakub Voracek revealed to reporters that he would play against the New York Islanders on Saturday.

The veteran forward missed the last two games with a lower-body injury. He took a puck in an awkward spot in last Friday’s game in New Jersey.Voracek joined teammates on the ice for the first time since last Friday's 6-3 victory at the Prudential Center and had good news for the crew after the skate.

“I’m good to go right now,” Voracek said. “I needed that timeframe to get back to where I was before, or at least 80 percent. Those days off helped.”

In 65 games this season, Voracek has posted 18 goals and 59 points.

There was more optimism as forward Nolan Patrick also took part in the team's practice.

His status however remains unknown at the moment for Saturday's matchup. He has missed one game with an upper-body injury.
