BREAKING: We hoped he would make it!

19-year-old prospect Alexandre Fortin is not present at this mornings skate line as he was sent back to his Quebec junior team.

Fortin made huge waves this year during training camp as he made his way from being an undrafted rookie to lining up with some of the best hockey players the league has to offer.

It is truly unfortunate that he did not make the cut this year, it could be due to the tight salary cap that Chicago has to work with alongside the costly retention of players such as Artemi Panarin.

Nonetheless he has tremendous potential and we have a feeling we will be seeing  great things from Alexandre Fortin in the near future.
