Minnesota Wild general manager Chuck Fletcher has announced that the team has recalled defenseman Mike Reilly from the team’s AHL affiliate the Iowa Wild.
The 24-year-old blue liner has tallied three assists in four games with the Wild so far this season, so it’s no surprise that he has found his way back into the team’s lineup. Reilly did play a single game down in Iowa, scoring a goal in the affair. The 6’2”, 195 lb native of Chicago, Illinois is looking to nail down a full-time roster spot with the Wild this season after two seasons of back and forth NHL/AHL play.
The youngster has two goals and 11 points in 50 career NHL games.
