The new look Minnesota Wild will seek to snap a five game losing streak when they take on the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden this evening. 

Newcomer Ryan Donato, acquired from the Boston Bruins in exchange for Charlie Coyle last night, will suit up in his first game for the Wild, but the team also announced that forward J.T. Brown has been called up from the AHL’s Iowa Wild for tonight’s game.

ST. PAUL -- Minnesota Wild General Manager Paul Fenton today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled forward J.T. Brown from the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Brown, 28, has notched four points (1-3=4) and 22 penalty minutes (PIM) in 35 games with Minnesota this season and ranks fifth on the team with 68 hits. He was assigned to Iowa on Feb. 4 and recorded six points (3-3=6) and 22 shots on goal in six AHL games. The 5-foot-10, 166-pound native of Burnsville, Minn., was signed as a free agent by the Wild on July 1, 2018. Brown has recorded 68 points (21-47=68), 214 PIM and 460 hits in 344 career NHL contests with Tampa Bay, Anaheim and Minnesota. He wears sweater No. 23 with Minnesota.
