Breaking: Wings’ Frk and waiver wire activity

In case you missed it, the Detroit Red Wings placed 25 year old Czech forward Martin Frk on waivers yesterday, after putting up just one goal and five points in 25 games this season.

The youngster impressed in his rookie season last year with the Wings, putting up 11 goals and 25 points in 68 games played. This year… well things haven’t gone exactly as planned.

Earlier this afternoon Frk officially cleared waivers and will report to the organization’s AHL affiliate Grand Rapids Griffins.

Additionally, the Arizona Coyotes have placed forward Michael Bunting on waivers today.
