Breaking: Wings Recalled Talented Forward from Grand Rapids Griffins

The Detroit Red Wings announced this morning they have recalled a talented forward from the Grand Rapids Griffins.

Tomas Nosek, 24-years-old, already played 6 games with the Wings on the 2015–2016 seasons. He never registered a point in the NHL but is still considered as “a versatile forward from the Czech Republic who can play on both the penalty kill and power. He has steadily improved and plays a strong two-way game. Nosek has a good work ethic and is willing to go into the corners and more difficult areas of the ice to create scoring opportunities.” As per Hockey Future.

Nosek played 48 games in the AHL this year. He scored 15 goals and registered 24 assists for a total of 39 points.

Jeff Blashill mentioned after the morning skate that he feels a coupe players are banged up and that is why Nosek could see some action soon.
