Breaking: Young centre lands on the waiver wire!
Many NHL teams are seeking help up front: could he be a good option?

At a time where several NHL clubs are looking for a boost down the middle, a few centres seem to be hitting the waiver wire at the same time.
On Tuesday, the San Jose Sharks placed 26-year-old centre Ryan Carpenter on waivers.
In 16 games with the Sharks this season, Carpenter amassed an assist, and a +1 rating.
The forward was never drafted by an NHL team, but was signed by the Sharks back in 2014.
In 28 NHL-career games, he collected two goals and five points overall.
