The puck drops of Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Final between the Carolina Hurricanes and Boston Bruins later today, but if you think you’re going to get a scoop from Rod Brind’Amour on his lineup, think again. The Hurricanes’ head coach was dismissive of media earlier today when asked about lineup changes, specifically when it comes to goaltending.

So, Rod… who gets the start in goal? Petr Mrazek or Curtis McElhinney?

Rod Brind'Amour won't reveal his starting goaltender for Game 3: "I can't be the guy who does that. Sorry."

"Do we make a change? We might,” added Brind’Amour. “But that might be for different reasons than you guys think."

Boooo! Just spill it, Rod!

For what it’s worth, Mrazek took the bulk of work yesterday at practice, a move that may indicate that he’s back between the pipes for the Hurricanes tonight.

If Mrazek does indeed get the start tonight, it will certainly be a surprising move. The Czech goaltender has struggled since coming back from a groin injury against the New York Islanders, while McElhinney was solid in relief.

So, who gets the start? Time will tell. Puck drop is 8pm ET tonight from PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina.
